Description

The BPM Connect by the French company Withings takes accurate blood pressure and heart rate measurements, enabling the detection of a variety of cardiovascular diseases before they progress. It indicates a risk of serious conditions such as atrial fibrillation and valvular heart disease, often before the first symptoms become apparent.

The device offers disease detection, ECG recordings and a digital stethoscope, all in one. Within 90 seconds of testing, colour-coded results are displayed on the device.
More information and your complete history can be accessed using the free Withings app over Wi-Fi or a Bluetooth connection. The data can also be shared with your physician.

Electrocardiogram: Detection of atrial fibrillation:

Atrial fibrillation or an irregular, sometimes rapid heartbeat occurs only irregularly and is very difficult to diagnose, especially in the early stages, as it typically occurs without symptoms, but can lead to heart-related complications. Using the two electrodes, a medical ECG can also be recorded using the BPM Connect.

Digital stethoscope: Risk identification for heart valve diseases:

BPM Connect is the first blood pressure monitor that detects heart valve disease risk via an integrated digital stethoscope that can hear and interpret heart sounds.

Evaluation in the Withings app:

The smart medical device synchronizes with the Withings app via Wi-Fi, where all your measurements are recorded. It also provides useful insights to improve cardiovascular health. The data can also be used to detect early warning signs of heart disease. With other Withings devices, you can also collect additional data such as physical activity, weight, sleep and much more.
