Developed with the help of experts, the smartwatch can perform ECG and SpO2 tests with great accuracy. Since the hybrid model does not consist of a single display, the luxury watch has a battery life of up to 30 days and needs only around 2 hours to charge 100% of the battery. All the data the watch tracks is automatically synchronized with the free Withings app, so you can track your progress and insights at any time.

Track your heart health:

The ScanWatch regularly records and tracks your heart rate day and night to help you improve your fitness and health over the long term. If the watch detects an irregular heartbeat, a notification alerts the user to an perform an electrocardiogram (ECG). The medically accurate electrocardiogram can detect signs of atrial fibrillation, which can lead to health problems if left undetected. Unfortunately, this type of cardiac arrhythmia is often symptom-free and can therefore be difficult to discover if you are not actively tracking for it. The live signal can be displayed during the recording and can be viewed and shared at any time with the app.

Monitor your breathing:

The oximeter on your wrist measures haemoglobin and blood oxygen saturation (SPO2) and can quickly assess the user's respiratory function. Any of your SpO2 readings measured with the PPG (photoplethysmography) sensor can be easily viewed and shared in the Withings app.

Furthermore, the watch also measures the oxygen saturation of your blood, your heart rate, your breathing rate and your movements throughout the night, all of which can indicate whether you have sleep apnoea.

Sleep analysis:

The sleep monitor learns to understand your nights and improve your quality of sleep thanks to artificial intelligence developed by a sleep laboratory in Mannheim, Germany. It tracks your different sleep stages (light and deep sleep), sleep duration, sleeping and waking time and sleep interruptions, all of which you can view in the Withings app. A special algorithm, calibrated at the Beclere Hospital in France using polysomnography, is considered the gold standard for sleep analysis. This algorithm automatically evaluates the quality of your sleep based on the data your watch measures. These selective measurements of your heart rate during sleep give insight into your sleeping heart rate, which differs from your resting heart rate. In addition to the heart rate, the respiration scan can also identify breathing disorders and provides an analysis of the continuous oxygen content in the blood (SpO2), heart rate, movements and respiratory rate.

Thanks to the smart wake-up function, your watch knows whether you are in a light or deep sleep phase and automatically selects the best time to wake you up. Of course, a maximum alarm time can be set in the app so that you are not woken up too late. The alarm gently vibrates to wake you up.

Activity Tracking:

When you're in exercise mode, your watch can track movement, distance, elevation, speed, and heart rate using your phone's GPS. Training mode is automatically detected by the watch based on your activity and the connected GPS. It can also be manually initiated from over 30 sports options on your watch. The duration of training, your heart rate and your movement are continuously recorded by your watch. In addition, your steps are also recorded with the 3-axis accelerometer to keep track of your daily step goal. Your fitness level can be determined based on the collected data and the estimated maximum oxygen consumption (VO2max).
